My husband and I recently listed out home in Holland Park for sale with Bruce Harry Real Estate. We had only purchased the property 12 months previously, but subsequently decided we needed a “tree change” with a move to Mount Tamborine, so we were in two minds about whether selling the property was the best decision for us.
We sat down with a number of Real Estate agents to discuss the potential sale, before meeting with a member of Bruce Harry. We explained our situation, including our concerns that we would not be able to recoup the expenses involved in the purchase of the property only 12 months earlier.
The agents could not have been more understanding or positive and they made the decision to the list the property with Bruce Harry easy. Bruce Harry’s policy of not charging advertising or marketing fees also made that decision easier, as we did not have to be concerned about incurring expenses to list a property, which might not achieve the price we needed to fund our move.
As it turned out, we need not have worried. From the time the property was first listed on realestate.com and the Bruce Harry website, the team at Bruce Harry were fielding called from interested purchasers. Over the following week the Bruce Harry team arranged multiple viewings of our home, at times that were convenient to my husband and I, with many prospective purchasers.
We have now signed a contract for the sale of our home, at a price we didn’t think was achievable, and are settling at the end of July.
Making the decision to list our property with Bruce Harry Real Estate has put us in the position to make the move we wanted to the Gold Coast Hinterland and we couldn’t be happier.
